Lünely started the way most honest things do — with a problem we couldn't solve any other way.

For nearly three years, I woke up every single morning with a stiff neck. Not occasionally. Every day. I'd adjusted my mattress, tried four different pillows, seen a physiotherapist twice. Each fix worked for a week, maybe two, then the stiffness crept back. I'd normalised it the way you normalise anything that's always there — as just part of waking up.

The turning point came after a particularly bad night. I sat on the edge of the bed at 6am, neck locked, and looked at the £12 pillow I'd been sleeping on. I'd spent over £300 on physio in the past year. The maths didn't make sense.

So I started researching properly. Cervical alignment, sleep ergonomics, the materials used in orthopaedic and medical-grade support. What I found was genuinely surprising: the science was well-established, the materials existed, and the manufacturing was accessible.What didn't exist was a brand bringing all of it together — at a price that felt reasonable, with a trial long enough to actually give it a fair chance.

That gap became Lünely. Every decision since — the butterfly contour, the dual-height zones, the mesh cover, the 60-night trial — came directly from asking what I would have needed to fix my problem sooner. Not what looked good on a product page. What actually works at 3am.
